Evening lecture: Ice Wisdom with Angaangaq Angakkorsuaq
The Great Ice is melting in Greenland. An old Eskimo saying claims that now the time has come for the ice in the heart of the people to melt. “Only if we melt the ice in the heart of the people men have the opportunity to change and to use their knowledge in a wise way.”
Angaangaq gives us some insight into the healing work from the North oft he world - Greenland. His medicine includes singing, drumming with the qilaut and storytelling. Let your heart be touched by the wisdom of the ice and its messenger!
  Angaangaq Angakkorsuaq
was born into a family who belongs to the traditional healers of the Far North from Kalaallit Nunaat, Greenland. “The man who looks like his uncle”. Uncle, as he is frequently called, bridges the boundaries of cultures and faiths in people young and old. His mother and his grandmother introduced him into the ancient knowledge and wisdom of his tribe. The elders asked him to spread their message into the world.
His work has taken him to five continents and over 40 countries around the world including South Africa, North America, South America, Asia, Arctic Europe, Russia, and Siberia.
As a traditional healer, storyteller and carrier of a Qilaut (drum), he conducts Healing Circles, Intensives and sweat lodges integrating the wisdom of traditional Inuit teachings from the unwritten healing traditions of the Eskimo-Kalaallit people.

Workshop: Melting the Ice in the Heart
Angaangaq Angakkorsuaq’s main focus is to melt the ice in the heart of the people. The Kalallit Eskimo like to work in a circle as there is no beginning and no end in a circle and everybody can be part of it. “The beauty of the circle is that we can not see each other’s back and the power of the circle is that we can only see the beauty of each other.“ Therefore Angaangaq works in a circle following the energies and answering questions - thus the circle becomes a healing circle. His medicine includes singing, drumming with the qilaut, storytelling and working with the smoke of sage.
But the main teaching will be the journey from the mind to the heart - learning to be strong and gentle, like we are meant to be.

Angaangaq Angakkorsuaq
:
“The greatest distance in the existence of man is not from here to there nor from there to here. No, the greatest distance in the existence of manis from his mind to his heart.  Unless he conquers this distance he can never learn to soar like an eagle, and realize the immensity within.”
“The most beautiful laughter is the laughter of a laughing heart.”
